Orangutan Tour 2 Day & 1 Night ...
Day 01: PANGKALAN BUN – RIMBA LODGE/ON BOAT
Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, you will be picked up by our staff and then taken to Kumai to board the boat. Cruise up river to explore the wildlife along the Sekonyer River, in the late afternoon you will see the proboscis monkey and other primates found along the river. Lunch will be prepared on boat. Overnight at lodge or on boat ( B,L,D)
Day 02: RIMBA LODGE/BOAT-CAMP LEAKEY
After breakfast you will sail up river to Camp Leakey to see the orangutan, on the way stopping at Pondok Tanggui, a new rehabilitation centre where orphaned orangutan are introduced into the forest, then continuing up river to Camp Leaky, the original rehabilitation site. Trek through the canopy to see feeding time at 2 O’ Clock. Late afternoon return to Kumai/Pangkalan Bun to your next destination. Tour end ( B,L)
